How to determine your skin
type
You need to know your skin type to choose
the right care products like cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Here's how.
Your skin is considered normal
if:
• It breaks out only occasionally, and
primarily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin).
• It sunburns, then tans.
• About ten minutes after cleansing,
before moisturizing, it feels somewhat tight.
Your skin is considered dry
if:
• It almost always burns, rarely tans.
• Your pores are fine.
• About ten minutes after cleansing,
before moisturizing, it feels parched and taut.
Your skin is considered oily
if:
• It tans easily.
• Your pores are large.
• About an hour after cleansing, without
moisturizer, you can run your finger down your nose and pick up oil.
Your skin is considered sensitive
if:
• It's fair.
• It sunburns quickly.
• It reddens or burns easily in reaction
to certain products.
